A creative collaboration based upon a ragamuffin sampler held in the collection of
1897 School Samplers
This pattern is being released as part of a creative collaboration with Evertote by Off The Grid Needle Arts and Roxy Floss Co. as the second in a series of five designs, with patterns for optional decorative border patterns and motifs to be included with the release of the fifth and final pattern of the series. These additional patterns will allow personalization of each design.
Should you choose to follow the suggested assembly into a traditional nine-patch, five of the patches can / will contain the five stitched patterns available in this series. The model for each of the five patterns has been stitched by Lianne van Leyen of 1897 Schoolhouse Samplers on a wide eighth (13.5” W x 18” H), with the design stitched in the middle of the fabric to allow the room to stitch the optional borders / motifs before assembly into a nine-patch. Please note that each of the five designs in this series have different stitch counts, so please plan the placement of your stitching to allow room for stitching any additional motifs and borders, if desired, and to allow final assembly into a nine-patch.
